Oh Lamb of God!
Prepare Me As Your Bride

Foreword

New Wine For New Wine Skins

When Jesus comes for His bride, will He see you as one of His wise virgins? A wise virgin is one who is preparing for his/her wedding. A wise virgin symbolizes those whose hearts and thoughts are focused on their soon-coming wedding and the day when they shall be one – totally intimate – with their chosen one… Jesus.

“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the Bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.” (Matt. 25:1,2)

“For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall Thy sons marry Thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.” (Isaiah 62:5)

Oh God! is new wine for the harvest. It reveals what the Lord said about the “last days” and speaks of His conditions – His promises and warnings – concerning His return. It gives a clear understanding of the parable of the “ten virgins,” the “talents” and the “vine and the branches.” These three parables illustrate the importance of the surrender of “self” and the fullness of the Holy Spirit. It clarifies the warnings contained in the “letters to the seven churches” and shows how they apply to our lives today.

God is calling – and the harvest is within OUR lifetime! The soil on which you walk – and the words which you are about to hear – are going to help prepare you to be His “bride”. God is preparing you for the wedding banquet of the Lamb. Many believers “think” they are ready. Will you be dressed in wedding garments without “spot or wrinkle”? Will you be ready to rejoice and dance before the King of Kings? Will you become as a “little child,” entering the kingdom in the fullness of the Holy Spirit?

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready.” (Revelation 19:7)

Thank you, Jesus, for all that you suffered, for every drop of blood that poured from your body, for the pain of your stripes and the nails which were driven into your flesh – and the agony You endured as You awaited Your final breath upon the cross at Calvary. Oh Jesus, forgive my inability to feel Your pain and fill me with the reality of the cross you suffered. Let my heart break. Let my heart know the tender love You have for me and for those You place in my path. Lord Jesus, prepare me as Your bride.

May your eyes be opened and may your heart embrace the importance of being ready as a “bride” for our soon-coming Bridegroom.

"No man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. But new wine must be put into new bottles, and both are preserved."
(Luke 5: 37,38)
